This blend encourages deep breathing allowing the chest to expand; the peppermint essential oil is a strong decongestant that can help prevent asthma attacks. Use the blend between attacks, preferably at bedtime. This is also an excellent blend for cold and flu symptoms. Directions. Apply the blend to the chest and massage it into the skin.
